WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Basic Life Support in Adults and Children is aimed those looking to learn a new skill that could save somebody’s life. This may be for the purpose of personal achievement, however, may also support a role in a workplace; for example, clinical and non-clinical staff working in a GP or Dentist practice.

This qualification is designed to allow learners to develop their knowledge and skills and to meet the needs of their role in work or another setting.

How long does the course take?

This course is usually delivered over 3 hours, with a minimum of 3 hours face to face learning required. The qualification is assessed via on-going oral and/or written questioning and practical demonstration. The Basic Life Support for Adults & Children qualification itself lasts for a period of 3 years.
