WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This course is appropriate for new entrants to the security industry, people transferring from other security roles, as well as anyone whose job includes some elements of CCTV.

These are highly interactive and participative courses, delivered by recognised training instructors and which can lead to a challenging and rewarding career as a CCTV operator. They will give you an understanding of the current legislation and principles pertinent to working with CCTV surveillance systems.
On this course you will be shown how to operate and manage CCTV systems for both small buildings as well as large camera networks in the heart of a major city. Curriculums are designed to meet SIA (Security Industry Authority) requirements and will give you invaluable knowledge relating to the day-to-day practicalities of running analogue and digital CCTV systems.
Classes involve hands on experience of working with CCTV systems and include guided learning in important areas such as following or observing people, monitoring their activities, and identifying them using any images you have taken. Special exercises will show you what to do in incidents that require urgent first aid response and how to deal with a major command and control incident.
By undertaking nationally recognised and accredited training from approved providers you will be able to look after property and people whether they are in a private of public environment. You will leave with a broad range of skills and a clear understanding of how this specialist role can help to create a safer and better environment for all.
