WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Anyone wishing to enter the medium to high-risk industry of close protection armed and unarmed and to enter the surveillance industry as a trained operative. This course will also deliver you to an advanced position on all training remits.

This qualification is designed for those learners wishing to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a close protection operative (CPO). It is based on the relevant SIA’s Specification for Learning and Qualifications

The 40-day UCP course also gives the learner the minimum requirements to apply for overseas high-risk jobs such as Iraq and South America. Domestic Surveillance employment and entry into the world of surveillance. 

Course Information

This course is designed for learners who wish to complete the full basic and advanced in one go, this intense 40-day courses will provide the learner the qualifications to gain employment much easier than that of the basic qualifications. This qualification is also designed for those learners wishing to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a close protection operative (CPO). It is based on the relevant SIA’s Specification for Learning and Qualification.

You will be trained in all equipment used in present day operations, up-to-date drills and skills, cultural awareness, pre-deployment administration including; personal safety and client brief, PSD, small team tactics, communication, anti-ambush drills from vehicle and foot, reaction to attack, defend location, IED awareness, reaction to trauma and Casevac procedures. 

PMC (Private Military Contractor) there will be times when you will work either on your own or requested to form a private unit to engage with legitimate governments globally or indeed for a private individual or association in protective duties. UCP PMC will guide you through the legalities on such a position.

Advanced weapons skills, force on force attack drills, high-risk urban movement and convoy and motorcade procedure.

Weapons – Full proficiency gained on all the following firearms: AK47/M4/Glock
